(ANSA) – CITTAREALE (RIETI), 9 NOV – a record Time for the new school and prepare it for the children of Cittareale, the village of 450 inhabitants in the province of Rieti, about twenty kilometers from the town of Amatrice, affected by the earthquake of August 24. It was built in 4 weeks and is the first new structure to be born in the affected areas. It was funded by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, Unicoop Florence, National Confederation of the Misericordie of Italy and was inaugurated today by the undersecretary Luca Lotti and by the mayor Francesco Nelli. The school was built by the company Panurania spa of Barberino Val d’elsa, also thanks to the collaboration between the civil Protection and ministry that have found the site and enabled the works of urbanization of the Municipality, and to the Genius of the Army. The total cost of the work is 264mila euros, fully covered by the partners of the project. The school complies with the safety req uirements laid out by the laws in force for the school exercises and, in particular, the resistance to the seismic risk.
