Will Claudio De Vincenti the new Secretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, taking the Graziano Delrio place. This was announced by Prime Minister Matteo Renzi during a press conference at Palazzo Chigi. De Vincenti, announced Renzi, “tomorrow will participate in the Council of Ministers on the Def.” Instead it will be Paul Aquilanti, added the premier, the new secretary general of the Palazzo Chigi.
Leave the post of Deputy Minister for Economic Development
De Vincenti, Pd, leaves his position as Deputy Minister for Economic Development, he has held since February 28, 2014. He had previously been Secretary for Economic Development from November 2011 to February 2014 in the governments Monti and Letta . An economist by profession, his career has developed along various lines which include, in addition to intensive research and teaching as a professor of Economics at the Department of Economics and Law, University of Rome “La Sapienza” The regulatory activities in the utilities, the economic adviser at the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Health, participation in organizations and advisory committees of national and international. He is the author of numerous scientific publications in international journals and Italian and several volumes.
Aquilanti a new secretary general of Palazzo Chigi
The premier also announced the appointment of Paul Aquilanti a new secretary general of Palazzo Chigi, effective next Monday. Former official of the Senate, Aquilanti was in government Renzi head of department at the Ministry for Reforms, following the dossier of the reform of the Constitution and the electoral law.
