ANSA-FOCUS / metropolitan cities: ANCI agreement on allotment cuts – ANSA Valle d’Aosta


 
 Fassino, ’27m spread over the metropolis, but Renzi give ok package’

(Paul Teodori) (ANSA) – Rome, 23rd April – The mayors metropolitan close the practice of cutting data with the stability law to metropolitan cities, 256 million, climbed to the headlines for the Sting buckled especially in three cities: Rome, Florence and Naples. The list of open items was immediately echoed by Fassino: the elimination or substantial reduction of penalties for slippage of the Stability Pact in 2014, however, due to the choices made by the former Province; coverage from the state for 30% of the staff should be mobilized by the metropolitan cities (“field on which we ask that all twelfths of salaries that we are paying us, and that we should not make the first of January last, are covered” ); the provision of the equalization fund from 625 million to move from IMU to Tasi; a compensatory mechanism sull’Imu agricultural; flexibility in the implementation of the new accounting system in order to use even for current expenses renegotiation of mortgages, the leftovers of the year and the real estate sales; the reduction of financial charges for staff must transit to other administrations and a solution to the serious differences that application of IPT are strongly penalizing the main metropolitan cities. “We hope to reach an agreement within the next week with the government because – said Fassino yet – the financial statements must be submitted by 31 May.” Meanwhile, in a note sent in the afternoon to the prime minister and the government, the coordinator of the metropolitan mayors, Dario Nardella, and the first citizens of other metropolises reiterated “the heavy reduction of resources”, stressing that “the proposed amendment, subject to the ‘ amount of general answers in our view to a principle of mutual solidarity and gradualness, necessary to reach a sustainable and effective standardization of expenditure, and to the principles of proportionality and fairness among the metropolitan cities than the contribution required by the State. ”

Meanwhile, the same Nardella did not hide his satisfaction: “with the understanding of today’s mayors have been shown to have a strong sense of team, which is the basis of the spirit of ANCI. I thank for the availability of the other seven mayors, although I find it unfair that city who have not breached or not have debts to pay more. ” Special thanks then sent it to the first citizens of Milan and Bologna, Giuliano Pisapia and Virginio Merola, also in this case “for the willingness shown”. Exults the mayor of Rome Capital Ignazio Marino, according to which with today’s agreement “you can break even the budget of Rome, of course, that the government give the blessing to the other proposals ANC”.
