(ANSA) – MILAN, 5 DEC – The body of a woman wrapped in cellophane was found inside a disused quarry in Cernusco sul Naviglio (Milan). To find the body was the owner of the area that has noticed the strange envelope in the water during an inspection. Shortly after, around 15, it is presented to the carabinieri station of Cernusco to report the discovery. The military went on the site and have asked the help of the fire brigade to retrieve the corpse. At the moment, the investigators do not know the identity of the victim, of fair complexion, apparently between the ages of 40 and 50 years old.
From a first analysis of the conditions of the body, found in the area of via Adua, it seems that the corpse was abandoned there recently, perhaps a day ago or a little more.
The area of the discovery is located next to cultivated fields, not far from a shopping centre.
