Both accused of corruption for the purchase and sale of apartments, says the court, would be in reality a “regalia”.

The judges have highlighted how the group Scarpellini has “numerous town planning agreements that require the promulgation of administrative measures on the part of the Municipality of Rome” and for this they consider that Marra is, since he was one of the closest colleagues of the former mayor, Gianni Alemanno, it has helped the manufacturer. The city has also rented some stable property of Scarpellini with two contracts by approximately € 9 million and approximately euro 5 million per year, for a total therefore exceeds 14 million euro. The investigation relates to the sale of some of the houses between Marra and Scarpellini, which took place between 2009 and 2010, but above all the passage of another apartment, in 2013, from Carvers to Mara, who is officially sold but for which it has been the same Scarpellini “to put at the disposal of the wife, Marra, banker’s drafts for a total of 367mila euro”.

Searches in the Capitol

The arrest was executed by the police of the core of the via In Selci. The survey refers to 2013, a period in which Marra was, under the mayor of rome gianni Alemanno, director of the office of housing Policy of the Municipality and head of the Department of heritage and home. The Police are conducting searches in the Capitol as part of the investigation. The two arrested are now in the barracks of Via In Selci.
