Campania, Caldoro: Renzi-De Luca Pact is not teleshopping, 1 billion less to the previous plan – Agenparl

(AGENPARL) – Naples, April 29, 2016 – “The Pact for the region signed by Renzi and De Luca is not a teleshopping, do not sell to the citizens what we already have.” So the leader of the opposition to the Regional Council of Campania, Stefano Caldoro , commenting on the agreement signed last Sunday at the Prefecture of Naples, with which the Government has given beyond the masterplan for the South, with investment funds European and national, for the development and growth of Campania. “An agreement – explains the former governor – in which 75% of interventions had already foreseen and defined by the programming of the previous regional government, 15% by the junta Bassolino and only 10% are new investments, fires Earth with removal of ecoballe and underground Salerno. ” Therefore it is evident that for Caldoro Renzi, this ‘operation’, “confirms that our approach on major projects and it worked.” But going beyond the praises, Caldoro can only bitterly criticizing the plan. “This is not an amazing deal, but simply a duty.” So much so that the pact basically “confirms everything that was in our programming, rewarding our administration.” “It would be enough to go – highlights – on the site of the Territorial Cohesion, to realize that Campania had a ‘draw’ full of European funds, being able to spend up to 96% of resources. Perhaps there may have been some problems with the quality of spending, but this is a matter of merit. ” So for Caldoro, what Renzi says about the fact that thanks to this agreement, will no longer be possible to spend the European funds, it is in fact something that in deeds, not the truth. Even according Caldoro there would be a flaw in the plan: “a figure of around one billion Euros, eliminated from the South of 2008 plan, which the then Minister Scajola signed with Southern regions”. A reduction in resources already critically detected by the mayor of Naples, Luigi de Magistris and the governor of Puglia, Michele Emiliano. “Emiliano – says the former president of the junta – is right. The most serious aspect of this Pact should provide funding to 11 billion, instead of 9.8 as those provided for in the Pact for the region. There ‘s one billion euro less and it is not a trivial matter. ” A figure with which the former regional administration, and in particular the chairman and the deputy in the Roman Empire, had planned to inject it in the reclamation sector, while today the same “are only set aside 250 million while we had expected 900″ . “It is preferred to focus – remember Caldoro – on removing ecoballe with 250 million, but the eco-balls are there for 20 years and it is a dry material that does not produce more damage and above all does not produce tumors. While severe diseases are due to those landfills of poisonous and harmful material, present in landfills and soils. Generally Caldoro commenting on the Pact for the region thanked “President Renzi – he said – ’cause the plan confirms that our approach on major projects and it worked.” With regard then subway Salerno, Caldoro replies pointing out that “we had not planned because we think that it is necessary to occupy The State Railways.” A plan, then, that, according Caldoro, has the flavor of electioneering. In this regard, launching a direct jab at Renzi: “It would have been appropriate to make these presentations after the elections, not in the electoral campaign for the city of Naples. Basically wait a month would not have changed anything. “
