reduction of sentence of one year (from 8 to 7 years in prison) for Luigi Lusi, the former treasurer of the Margherita accused of stealing from the coffers of the dissolved party of almost 25 million Euros until 2011. the decided the third criminal division of the court of appeal in Rome that declared prescribed two episodes of embezzlement until September of 2008 while maintaining the rest of the charges.
the appellate courts have inflicted accountants Mario Montecchia and Giovanni Sebastio respectively 3 years and 2 years imprisonment.
