The Interior Ministry has assigned the escort Lucia Borsellino. The decision comes a month and a half after his resignation as regional minister of Health in Sicily. It ‘was placed in an armored car and two armed men for decision of the Committee for the order and security, which has entrusted the protection of the police state.
On July 2, the daughter of Paul Borsellino had left his position “for reasons of ethics and morality and therefore personal, more and more irreconcilable with my mandate”.
The fuss around Crocetta originated in an article in L’Espresso in which reported the contents of an alleged phone call (the existence of which was denied by most Sicilian prosecutors) in which the personal physician of President Sicilian Matteo Tutino, ascended to primariato plastic surgery before being arrested for fraud 29 June 2015, he said President of the Region “we blow it up like his father.”
The decision of the Interior Ministry to assign the stock, adopted in August, would be linked to investigations on the Sicilian health and also to Complaints from Lucia Borsellino when he was in office in the executive regional.
