The national Association of magistrates (Anm) will not participate in the ceremony,
on the 26th of January, the inauguration of the judicial year at the Supreme court. On that same date, will hold a press conference in their headquarters at the palace of justice. To participate, instead, to the ceremonies, on Saturday 28th, in the Courts of Appeal. This was established by the steering Committee central as a form of protest for “non-fulfilment of the political commitments assumed by the government,” pensions and transfers of judges. The decision was taken unanimously.

And this is the first time that the Association adopt a form of protest of this type, not attending the ceremony, which is a solemn moment for the Italian justice system.
